I'm back :o

yo~~~

It's been a while since I last posted hehe. My excuse is that first, I was tired (from exams, specially history, which i fear i dind't do so well, and writing) and felt like having a break; secondly because there wasn't much to blog about; and lastly, because I felt lazy ... Yeah we aussies are lazy...some of us anyway...

So, what have I've been up to? In the last few weeks Life has seen go out with people more often that I have in the last two or three years together... though still it isn't much compare to more 'sociable' people. I also have been reading many books, which I shall mention rather in this post, as well as movies and documentaries, all taken from my local library, which have replaced school as my second 'home'. And, as any other 18 year-old guy, I have been playing video games. Lol.

Early Novemember(that is, 4th of novemeber onwards as that was the day of my last HSC exam) was boring, as I started to get used to not having much purpose in life other than breathing and eating and sleeping and that kind of stuffs. It's been a real change, not having to go to school everyday, and do homework every night (which, I must be honest, didn't do EVERY night...) and study for exams or doing assignments due in a few weeks-time. However, the hardest part was not being able to see my friends on a constant basis, as well as (surprsingly) my teachers, who I must say these teachers and school have had the greatest impact on me than any other school. Even IEC (Intensive English Center, a place where newly arrived kids go to learn English as well as getting used to school-lifestyle here in Australia), which I always, and still do, consider as an important stage of my life.

Late Novemeber I started meeting with my school friends a bit more, maybe once a week though not always. Though we did started tlaking more on msn, which is quite good. Got involved in many group convos, and I realized I can be quite funny, making 'smart' comments on whatever we were talking about. Ah, fun times...

Now, I said earlier that I have been going out with people more often than before. By people, I mean everyone. That is, family and friends (but no strangers... lol). Three of these 'outings' are important to note, however. The first, was the concert of Andre Rieu here in Sydeny at Olympic Park. It was really good, and I'm glad I did go with my family there. It was on a Saturday and, well, it rained. And the concert was on open space... which means we got rain on us. Not much bother as we wore waterproof-coats, though I was worried I'd get sick as my socks got wet, and once when I was a kid I got fever for wearing wet socks for far too long. Luckly, I didn't get sick. Though I did told for the first time to my mother to 'shut up' as she really got annoying for something which wasn't my fault. Anyway I forgave her as this was very inportant to her, though I did promised myself if she ever did this again I wouldn't go out with her again. Which she'll understand ...

The day after, me and my friends were supposed to go for laser tag, which got cancelled due to overbooking. I ended up having breakfast with some of them before accompanying them for their license driver's test, which I'm glad to announced they passed. Hehe. After that I went to the city, hunting for a video game which I did not find out. I guess this is for the best, as this way I don't spend the little money I have. Had fun walking around CBD Sydney (known to us aussies as the 'City') though my legs protested loudly that night.

The third outing was yesterday. A very close friend's birthday was on friday, and she organized for a group of friends to meet and have dinner together at Darling Harbour. The food was good, all the more as were hungry haha. I ordered a hawaiian pizza and garlic break, and tried for the first time RedBull (which I shall talk about in the next paragraph). It was very fun, meeting new people and whatnot, though I felt nervous. I was the youngest, and the only one to have recently finished school, and I'm not used to being in the presence of people who are both older than me but at the same time far younger to what I would define as 'old'. Still, a nice experience to have, and one I better get used to. Uni next year...

RedBull. Most of you should know of it, and if you don't, please ask wikipedia as I'm not entirely sure how I should explain it. Anyway, as I said earlier, I tried it for the first time last night. A great mistake, though not really a bad one. It didn't give me the energy I expected, and neither did it keep me completely awake at night. But it did keep me somewhat awake. A friend told me that he doesn't get any energy, and doesn't feel like staying awake, but that it does help him think faster at times, as well as get more ideas than he would usually get. And that's what happened to me. It was obvious in my dream. It was weird, strange, and yet, very interesting, more so than my dreams in the last few weeks. I won't go into details, but I will say in the dream, I told a friend, who I was going to a party with, that we sould dressed up. As what, you ask? Well, as knights, I tihnk, because I said to him we should get a pair of white horses, golden armour, red capes, and black boots. I think that is crazy and weird, in a way.

Anyway, this is it for now, I'm tired and my head is sleepy. I shall talk about books soon enough, however, as well as movies, documentaries and video games. Cya!
