So I was lazy to talk about the books and movies I've watched. I promise I will talk about those in due time, but now I will tlak about two other things.
One, is about my first Pepper Lunch ever~
A pepper lunch, for those who don't know, is a japanese type of cooking (well, not really japanese I think, but I'm not going to get into this) where dishes are served on very hot plate, and the food is cooked in fron of the costumers, allowing them to choose how cook they want their meals. I had this lunch on last Friday, when I met with a friend for lunch. I had a hamburger with fried egg, and I must admit, I really liked it haha. I can't wait to come back there again. This was also the first time I've eaten a meal only using chopsticks. I'm really proud about that, as I don't consider myself really good with chopsticks.
The second tihng, and the one that relates to the title of this post, is about my HSC exams results as well as my UAI.
HSC (High School Certificate) it's the highest certificate in secondary education level that you can get in NSW, Australia. So it's very, very important. The HSC involves a preliminary (yr 11) and HSC course (yr 12) at school. Your final mark involves all the work you've done at school, both school exams and assessment tasks (50%) and the HSC final exams (50%). My final exams were between 18th of October and 4th of November.
The UAI (University Access Index) it's the 'mark' that you are given by UAC (a body that represents all universities in NSW and ACT) which determines whether you go to university at all, and which course you'll be able to do.
Both the HSC mark and UAI are very important, and I must admit, I'm dead nervous about this.
I'll be able to check my HSC results on December Wednesday 17th, at 6am; and my UAI on the 18th, at 9am. That means I only got less than 5 hours to go before I'm able to check my HSC results...
Well, some friends are planning to stay up until 6am, but I know I won't be able to do that, so I'm planning on grabbing some asleep before my deadly alarm wakes me up for my 'judgement'...
I shall blog once again tomorrow morning, after I've seen my marks =x
