Ah, this week has been hell as busy (and somewhat boring), which is why I haven't blogged since last saturday.
So on Monday I did my HSC English (ESL) Paper 2: Modules (yeah, full title =x) exam along with my listening. It was quite fun to write, though I would have wished my brain could think a little faster, as well as for my fingers to write faster. I'm still confident I'll get a good mark, however.
I had Tuesday and Wednesday free (to study) until Thursday, when I did my General Maths exam. This is the easiest Maths course you can do in Australia (the govt.'s thinking of abolishing it, heh), though no less challenging than normal Maths or Advance. The exam was structured into 22 multiple choice questions, with 6 extra mini-sections, composed of about 3-5 questions each. The multiple choice and Qs 23, 24 and 25 proved to be easy, but still hard enough to make me think. By the time I arrived to questions 26, things got far trickier. The questions weren't as easy, and I had to read each word carefully to know exactly what they were asking. Not only that, but with my weariness from doing the other questions, doing the final 3 sections proved to be far more challenging that I expected. Soon I got tired and, after writing down what I could in all the questions, left the exam room. I will pass, maybe even get a good mark (60s-70s out of 100) which I say it's a good result with the amount of study I did. I was so tired afterwards I went to rest at the school library with some friends before heading home and study for my next exam.
On Friday I did my Legals Study HSC exam. Unlike for my Trials two months ago, I was better prepared. And the exam gave me questions I was sort of prepared to as well. Section I and II i'm sure I did extremely well (Section I only took me 10 minutes, when, giving each section equal amount of time in relation to the marks, it's 45minutes). Section III, with two extended-response question, tunred out to be... boring. Yes, boring. I kept yawning and daydreaming every 10 minutes. I still managed to write what I could summon from my memories. I won't get 20/25 for those, but I will get a passing grade for those two questions.
Two not-so-easy exams, on two days straight didn't do me well. My arm was sore by the time i finished Legals, and by 10pm yesterday my mind was as heavy as an elephant. I feel better now, but I still feel weary nonetheless. At least, I got 3 days before my next, and possibly hardest exam I'll ever do in the HSC, if not my life.
Oh, but my dream last night was quite...nice. It revealed how much I yarn for someone to be happy with. The girl whom I "went out" with in my dream is a friend from my english class, with whom for the past two years been competing and trying to outbest in our exams, and writing in general. I'm sad to say that she has turned to be a better writer than me, as she has practiced much more than I ever did and so, she deserves to be ranked first in both english classes. It may be because I respect her so much that she was in my dream (though in real life I wouldn't think of ever asking her out ... for now anyway). In the dream I was also dragged onto the ''basketball'' team that seemed more like a mercenary group of sorts, and I wore something similar to Allen Walker's 3rd Exorcist Uniform in the manga (D.Gray-man), only blue isntead of red. I also found myself playing match of soccer against another school. Where have you seen a basketball team play a soccer match? Anyway, it was a good dream (except for the scenes set in my house) and I wouldn't mind going back some day (or rather, some night).
